We visited school in Wroclaw on "Teacher's Day". It was amassing to find there a teacher speaking Hebrew!
The Poland- Israel website build by Halina, teacher from iEARN Poland. She is from Wroclaw.








During 5 days in Warsaw we had meetings "Poland-Israel Youth Encounters" Warsaw. Museum of the History of Polish JewsChairman Mr Jacek Olejnik, Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Warsaw,

For us, you can not be in Warsaw and not go to:
-historic Warsaw Ghetto area
-the memorial stone in Mila Street at the original location of the bunker of the Jewish fighting organization,
-the Nozyk Synagogue,
-the Memorial to the Heroes of the Ghetto, and the Umschlagplatz, the site of the deportation of the Warsaw Jewish community to Treblinka.




On the morning of the first day to Warsaw we visit  Dom Sierot. From 1911 Korczak guided the orphan-house which was created by his plans. Here he developed as result of the reflected practice the idea of a peaceful and classless society. This was caused by the recognition of Korczak that the society split in two parties: the adult and the children of which the children where the weaker party. Between both there was a permanent fight of unequal because the children had no chance in this fight.We had there a meeting with The Polish Janusz Korczak Association teachers from Israel talked about their ideas of implementing Korczak's methods.People from the association told us about affords they are doing to publish his writings.Some of them told why they are going on the footsteps of Korczak.We finished with songs
